Representatives of the School of Health Sciences and Public Health attended the International Symposium on Global Health Held in Los Angeles, USA
On 12-16th of June, Director of the School of Health Sciences - Mrs. Tamar Lobjanidze and Professor, Head of Health Administration Programs M.r Otar Vasadze attended the International Symposium on Global Health which was held in Los Angeles (Long Beach), USA. The purpose of the visit was to obtain international accreditation of health administration programs.
The University of Georgia and its partner universities (University of Scranton and the University of Central Florida) presented to the symposium reports on the development of their health administration programs.
It was planned that in autumn the School of Health Sciences and Public Health of the University of Georgia will host the representatives from the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) and Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME).
